St. Mary's Parish Council Meeting
June 26, 2006
The meeting began at 7:00 pm with a prayer. Present were Jim Franz, Rose Stang, Maryann Hauth, Greg Gorecki, Sue Wierzbic, Kathy Gier, Cindy Wiezba, Jacob Rachwal, Jackie Rachwal, Gene Gates, Larry Stiller, guest Randy Rachwal, Fr. Bartnik
A motion to accept the previous meeting's minutes by Rose Stang, seconded by Maryann Hauth passed
COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Building/grounds. Fr. Bartnik reported several projects either completed or otherwise on schedule. These include painting/plastering in church, parish center roof, ceiling tile in choir, classroom ceilings with spare tiles. Checks for partial payment are already in.

Rose Stang will join the Eucharistic ministers (Maryann Hauth and Jinny Armstrong) in rotation bring the Eucharist to the faithful at Eden Heights

Picnic/Annual chicken BBQ. No flea market. Theme baskets are being readied. Lori Telaak, chairperson. Chinese auction tickets are ready. Chicken price for children is $5.00. Under 5 years free. Raffle returns are uncompared to last year.
NEW BUSINESS:

Third and 6th grade teachers are still needed for CCD. Grades 1-6 will meet on Sunday from 8:30 am to 9:45 am. Grades 7-10 will meet Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm A family Mass is planned monthly at the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass for grades 1-6 and on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for grades 7 - 10. A simple reception to follow the Wednesday Mass

New textbooks have been purchased.

Oct 1st is still on the schedule for a charity breakfast ad will be on the parent calendar. Proceeds to benefit St. Mary's
