St. Mary's Parish Council Meeting October 30th, 2006
The meeting began with a prayer led by president Larry Stiller. Present were Jacob Rachwal, Jackie Rachwal, Rose Stang, Kathy Gier, Sue Wierzbic, Greg Gorecki, Maryann Hauth, Jim Franz, Fr. Jim Bartnik and guests Randy Rachwall and Maryann Prieschel.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:

CCD report from Sue Wierzbic. The family Masses and socials continue to go very well. The students are actively participating and seem to be enjoying the experience. Many supported and participated in the parish pancake breakfast as well as the Halloween party on Oct. 27th. It is wonderful experience watching the parish community work together for a common cause.

Participation of many outside parish was happily noted at the Halloween party.

Bible Study from Rose Stang. The group is still small but still continuing

Strategic planning from Fr. Bartnik. See article insert last bulletin.

Turkey Dinner --- Our total of 409 dinners were sold out at 1:30 p.m. The 91 theme baskets brought us a profit of $1025.00. The quilt raffle made $1022.00. The parish half of net was $1507.88
NEW BUSINESS:

Youth ornament decorating in the parish center Nov. 19 from 11 am to 1 pm

Turkey raffle sponsored by the Holy Name Society 1pm Sunday Nov. 12th. A total of 35 frozen birds 16-18 lbs plus one fresh one from Harold Heier will be won by the lucky players

Christmas pageant by the children at 3:40 before the 4:00 pm Vigil Mass
