group-and the wonderful success of the event. Donation

-
Some changes in the membership
of the parish council occurred with the resignation of Rich Smith as
head of buildings and grounds, Sherry Becker and Tracy Keller as
members. Buildings and grounds will be covered by Father and the
two trustees.
-
Holy Name Society rib dinner is
planned for April 30 to begin at 11:00 am. Price $8.00.
-
Application forms for the Msgr
McGure Essay Contest are in back of the church on the bulletin board
and in the bulletin of March 26.
-
Dates set for future functions:
Spaghetti dinner May 20; Mother's Day May 14th, Father's Day June
18th; Chicken BBQ July 16, possibly Oct 1st for a Fall pancake
breakfast.
-
Heavenly helpers, the parish
group that produces the meals after funerals is not able to pay for
this service from donations alone as it has almost been able to do up
to now. It costs roughly $2.00 per person to do this and anyone
planning to make a donation can calculate the appropriate amount to
give from this figure.
-
An insurance adjuster from the
diocese was here to examine the aprish center roof because of leaks
and missing shingles. He also looked at the plaster damage to
the left wall of the sanctuary and the ceiling tiles in the choir
area.
-
The first cluster meeting on
3-23-06 was attended by Fr. Bartnik, Kathy Gier and Ed Nowark.
After each parish gave a brief summary of their meetings until now,
attention was focused on schools and youth ministries.
-
Confirmation date May 4th; First
Penance April 8th; First Communion May 13th
Respectfully Submitted:
