| The meeting began at 7:00 pm with a prayer and pledge of allegiance led by President
Larry Stiller. There were 11 members present.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- Treasurer Gary Gier reported a balance of
$1229.99. This included paid per capita dues and last months
donation to the Immaculate Conception St. Vincent dePaul Society.
- Larry passed out the most recent telephone
tree.
- Applications for the Msgr. McGuire essay
contest are available and will be put in the church. A notice will
be in the bulletin
OLD BUSINESS:
- Allen Telaak reported on the round/square
dance this past Saturday. The crowd was the best ever. A
profit of $639.00 was realized. $200.00 paid for the hall, the
Sportsmen received $300.00 and the HNS received $139.00. The
sportsmen did most of the work.
NEW BUSINESS:
- The following members have signed up to
serve at stations: for Fri, Feb 23, Duane Bauer and Larry
Stiller, for mar 9 Duane, Larry and George Rapson; for Mar 23 Larry
and Ed Nowak
- The diocesan HNS will meet at St. Mary's
on April16. Tasks for refreshments were divided as relish
tray-George Gates; Fruit tray-Duane Bauer. Also to be supplied
2 sheet pizzas, chips/dips, coffee, flag, banner. A short
meeting at 6:30 pm will be held.
- Mother's day breakfast may 13th will be
discussed in detail at the April meeting. HNS Mass will be at
7:00am. Invitation to the men of the parish to help preparing
the breakfast will be in the bulletin 2 weeks ahead.
A motion by Joe Turello seconded by Duane Bauer
to donate the entire cost of the reception for the confimandi after
their day of recollection on Feb 25 passed. Father accepted
$100.00 for this cause.
Dueane Bauer expressed thanks for the servers
from the HNS at the Mass for his recently departed father.
A motion by Allan Telaak seconded by Joe
turello to adjourn passed.
