| The meeting began
at 7:00 pm with a prayer a led by President
Larry Stiller Nine members were present COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- Treasurer Gary Gier reported a balance of
$781.77
- Shawn O'Dell's essay was the only submission
for the Msg. McGuire essay contest. It was read for the members.
He will receive a $100.00 prize from St. Mary's HNS. Fr. Bartnik
suggested that he be approached to read his essay at the HSN Mass in
June where he could hen be given his check. His parents will be
asked to attend the mass.
- HSN members are urged to attend the Memorial
Day events at 10:00 am at the cemetery. Maurie will use the phone
tree to invite the members also to the June HNS Mass and to remind
everyone there is no meeting in June
- A motion by John of Vercelli prayer room
maintained by the HNS of Holy Name of Jesus parish in Philadelphia
Pennsylvania where prayers will be offered for our members passed.
- There were 33 young people confirmed at St.
Mary's
- No change in the status of the parish is
expected until Jan. 08
- Next meeting will be September 07
A motion by Gene Gates, seconded by Joe Turello
to adjourn passed.
