Guidelines For St. Mary's Religious Education Program
REGISTRATION:
Families should be registered at St. Mary's Parish. A copy of the baptismal certificate is needed for all students not baptized at St. Mary's.
ATTENDANCE:
Attendance is very important. Classroom experience is difficult to recreate. Each lesson is built upon the previous lesson. Therefore, when a student is absent, he/she is expected to make up the class work at home. Please see your child's teacher to receive any missed work.
ARRIVAL:
All Students will enter the building using the front door of the parish center. Students arriving prior to 15 minutes before class begins should go to the parish hall. No student is to remain outside the building. Students who walk, ride a bike, or snowmobile to and from class need a note from parents. This will be kept on file.
If a student arrives late, he/she will report to the Rel. Ed. Office for a late pass before going to class
EARLY DISMISSAL AND DISMISSAL
Please use caution in the parking lot, especially during inclement weather. Do not block the area near the front door.
Sunday---Children in Grades Pre-K to Grade 3 are to be picked up at the classroom door.
COMMUNICATION:
Information regarding Rel. Ed. will be sent home with your child as well as published in the Sunday bulletin. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with your child's teacher or call Sr. Judy (992-3123). We can give accurate information which will address any questions or concerns. This helps eliminate rumors and misunderstandings
